Henrik leading goalies in assists

i never thought of henrik as much of a "puckhandling" goalie, but with 4 assists he leads all goalies, is tied with Chris Drury, and is one more assist than Eminger has

Wow 14 assists by a goalie is pretty absurd.

His puck skills have improved greatly. Probably the thing he needed to improve on the most when he came to the NHL. It use to scare me every time he tried to play the puck.

Well done Henke

I wouldn't read too much into it, at least 2 assists have consisted of him simply stopping the puck behind the net and leaving it for the D-man. Loved the stretch pass though, can't remember who it was against.

Yeah, Hank and Drury are tied right now...but you have to believe Chris will find a way to win the points battle down the stretch.

Was that to Anisimov in the Caps game? Not sure.

Ridiculous, at his cap hit Lundqvist should be putting up 80 points a year. And we complain about Drury.

All Fuhr had to do to score assists was stop the puck behind the net for Paul Coffey so he could take it end-to-end and score.

I don't particularly care about the assist totals, as I only remember one where it was legitimate.

However, his puckhandling has gotten a lot better, IMO. He doesn't turn the puck over nearly as much as he used to and he looks a little more confident when he leaves the crease. It's good to see. He's still not a good puckhandler, but he's noticeably better.

I thought it was to Staal who passed it to Anisimov in the Dallas game.
