New Composite Blade or Get use to it?

I bought a new composite (Bauer Vapor) I have a really good shoot in my backyard rink but seems like i dont have a good shot in warm-up before games.Should i cut that blade off and get a new one or try to get used to it?

What have you guys done after getting a new stick, That didn't work out?

If you have a good shot with that stick in your backyard rink then it shouldn't be the stick?

Is it a real ice rink in your backyard or is it a little shooting setup? (Specifically wondering if you wear shoes or skates)

It's a real ice rink, I'm wearing shoes also. Does this mean i should buy a stick extender and make it another 1-2"?

Well, if you're practicing shooting from a different height than you do in your game then you could run into adjustment problems when your muscle memory kicks in. If you practiced with a stick that's an inch or two shorter, that would probably mimic the on-ice length of your stick and compensate for any skate-height.

It's just one possible theory. If you're flubbing your shot and sort of shooting over the puck on ice then I'd say this is probably it. (If you're having trouble getting under the puck to raise it)
