I always get a laugh at the Edmonton has horrible weather knock. No hurricanes, few natural disasters of any kind, no weather that ever shuts the city down. No weather that prevents you from getting where you want to go.

I like that people think its horrible living up here though.

Who needs more crowding..

They get 6 inches of snow in some places and they consider it a storm.

Or two inches in London.

Aside from this particular storm it is the freezing rain "icestorms" that cause the worse havoc and blackouts down east. Which we don't get here and are the worst and most dangerous storms to deal with.

The dry cold we get here is easy to deal with. Like I said when are events in Edmonton ever shutdown due to weather?

Bravo Guys........

Bravo Guys, we should be positive about our city and all the natural factors that we have and cannot change...........

I cannot stand 90, 100 degree weather that you get in the summer. Have you been to Toronto in July? I got off the plane when the temperature was around 28 degree,
the humidity was unbearable........it 's like when you open a hot oven door and get a blast of fiery heat.

The dry cold that we have here is lot better than the cold humid air in Eastern Canada.
