Vinny is the ****ing man, love that guy.

Let's see Drury do the same thing.

Cally is an official alternate, he's not wearing it because someone else is out. Staal was only wearing an A because Vinny was hurt.

Vinny is a classy, classy man.

Or maybe because Staal is being traded for a veteran denseman who would be useful for a playoff run?

it'll be interesting when feds comes back, figure dru will be the one scratched but will torts take the C as well:

cally - C
dubi - A
staal - A

or will that be too much of a problem during the middle of a season?

i still find it hard to believe that Torts would bench his captain on a long term basis.

Honestly, figured thats what would happen. The website probably automatically put it back on Prospal once he was listed as active again.

Depending on how these last 30 or so games go for Prospal should likely be the determinant factor in whether or not he earns another NHL contract; with any team.

But with his age and this youth thing we're doing, I think its unlikely we bring him back with anything less than a fantastic performance. So I'm not surprised about the Staal "A"

Brooks wrote that Drury still has the trust of torts to take defensive zone draws and that if it happens that Drury will be a scratch it will “it will be a seismic shock to the system”

I do think that at some point Cally will wear the C, and dubi and staal with the A's. But for NOT DRURY IS NOT GOING ANYWHERE, whether we like it or not, ill take drury over ec though. The guy is a stanley cup champ and a former captain of team usa. He is a leader. Does he costt BEYOND WAY TOO MUCH, hell yes ofcourse, especially for a 3rd n 4th liner. But he aint going anywhere and we should all realize that now.
