Colin Greening will be the best call-up of the year for Ottawa. He will undoubtedly be a quality NHLer. He is impossible not to root for as he is an outstanding human being. Some of you may know how I feel about one of my favorite players, so I never anticipated typing this, but Colin Greening > Chris Kelly.

That's a hefty endorsement coming from you BSF, as you always hailed Chris Kelly - accurately so - about the kind of player he was to become in the NHL. So I am excited to see him get his shot in the bigs.

His production of late has been very good. Are we talking a gritty type of Chris Kelly...or a guy that could potentially settle into the top 6?

Hmm thats a very interesting assessment. Do you mean better in Kelly's type of role? Or more in the sense of offensive production?

I'm excited to see how he does, being a former 7th round pick and all. I don't know much about his game but his size intrigues me and I'm curious to see what he can do.

Here's hoping

I have been hailing Greening as one of our most underrated prospects for the past two seasons. Glad he got the call up...

does that mean that Butler stays in Bingo now with Greening up?

Will Greening get some real minutes or 8 minutes of ice time with shannon?

Considering he is a bottom 6 prospect, he will likely get the bottom 6 treatment with Regin/Winchester...aka 6-10 mins

Winnie is out. There are 11 forwards. There should be plenty of juggling of lines and plenty of ice time for all tonight. Good game for us to see what Greening is all about.

The fact they picked Greening for the call over Condra is interesting considering the great season Condra is having statistically. They must see what BingoSensFan sees in Greening - I can't wait to get a glimpse for myself.

Not to mention that Condra has been the best spectacular defensively too.

Anxious to see Greening play as I'm a fan of his style of play.
A big body who uses his size well, should be fun!

You were WAY off - he ended up getting 8 minutes and 5 seconds.

How do we rate Greening's performance?

With emoticons.

He was fast and played hard along the boards. He had good hands, got the puck to teammates in the red zone, and got a shot off quickly.

I'm looking forward to after the trade deadline if a bunch of forward spots open up due to trades and we can see these guys play some real minutes. It will be the closest thing to actually watching a Binghamton Senators game - which sounds a lot more exciting than the current product.

Glad to hear it. He's one of my favorite players in Bingo but I didn't get a chance to watch the game last night.

Close on Greening, nice call, buy way off on Shannon. He had 16:53 TOI.

He did ok, didn't look out of place. Did nothing to hurt the team, did nothing to really help the team either.......fit right in with the rest of the team.

I think I can predict that if the Sens start pulling Bingo's best players out of there, there will be a revolt that will make last year's Elliott's non-send down look like a cocktail party.
