What do you all think?

I've heard ATL is looking at Versteeg, and who couldn't use a couple Vets who won cups for your first playoff in a while (not sure how long it's been for ATL, but they've never really had the hope that they have this year).

Makes sense for Toronto for obvious reasons. A top 6 winger now and for the future.

I am a Leafs fan too and I would love Kane, but c’mon man. Look at it from Atlanta’s side of things. It starts with Schenn or Kadri for Kane. If Atlanta is looking to add for a playoff run, they would likely give up futures.

a top 6 role guy for a potential superstar? value isnt close...i wouldnt trade Kane for anyone in Torontos system...kadri and schenn included.

in 5 long years he's still going to only be 24 and will just be coming into his own as a legit beast.

Evander Kane would be awesome but not at the price of Kulemin and Schenn. When you look at salary and previous stats you would think Phaneuf and Kessel are the building blocks of this team but it's probably Kulemin and Schenn.

Atlanta won't be trading Kane until he's facing UFA status.

Don't remember seeing him play much this year so I'm not really sure where his game is, but his stats are OK.
