Not trying to make fun of them because god knows the Isles have their own attendence issues but is it ever crowded there? I've seen some pictures of that place during games and it looks like a ghost town.

Maybe we could combine forces and become the Long Is-lanta Thrashlanders. We'll play half our home games here and half there. That way, we'd stand a chance at some sell outs.

No thanks - the Isles are already only playing half their home games!

So, Wishart is called up and gets to watch Reese play. Why? Reese is not good. Very not good. Wishart can't be worse. Let him play.

As for the question of Poulin, probably because Capuono would rather use DP tomorrow night at Pitt. I agree with this, team could be tired playinng back to back games with a possible rough travel between.

Not very often, no. But, the area it's in has a ton of crap that generates an assload of traffic. The less traffic, the better as far as I'm concerned. It's the difference between taking 15 mins from my driveway to the parking lot to taking 45 mins to an hour.

The Warrior is going to go out hard against us tonight. Watch him crush Parenteau.

I'd have honestly rather kept meyer as depth guy over the likes of gervais & reese this past offseason.

Without a doubt, I was disappointed when they let him go knowing Gervais was our depth guy and that our Defense always has a terribly unlucky time staying healthy.

Me too. I hate Gervais, and Meyer is as I said, "a warrior". I don't think anyone here would have been upset if he stayed.

We lose, 4-2.
Goals by Grabner and Moulson.
Poulin gives up 4, but is still not blamed becase his name is not DiPietro.

Leaps and bounds better than Gervais.

Watching FMIV play top-4 minutes for 60 games may give a man an ulcer, but watching Gervais play top-4 minutes for 30 can give a man an aneurysm.

And he could eat some minutes on the blueline when necessary. Good for a few glaring errors every once in a while, but not 'shoot me' stupid.....not afraid to nail the stuffing out of someone open-ice from time to time. If we had no better options to replace Gervais, I'd even welcome him back.

Give it a rest already.

I did not see one person blame DP after last game when he gave up 4.

In all fairness, our depth guy was Hillen. Gervais was #9.
Streit-Wiz-MacDonald-Martinek-Eaton-Jurcina-Hillen-Gervais.

This was our depth chart when Meyer signed with Atlanta in August. Would he even have considered signing here where at best he is #8?

Also, Gervais was already signed to a 1-way deal.
