Hm... 3-1 win for the Flames.

I like playing vs Nashville, it's a very good even matchup for us right now... think our team is nice and rested, we should be OK.

4-2, Not sure for who. Bourque with 2 goals though.

Edit: 4-2 Flames. 2 goals from Bourque, 1 from Jackman, 1 from Iggy.

If that happens, it makes the win all that more sweeter.

I really hope these missed golden chances don't come back and bite us.

Sigh, spoke too soon.

I'll be honest, I thought it was over after the second goal against us. Thanks god I was wrong!

every game, every night is so important now. Really interesting to see where the pieces fall, so little separates the 6 or so teams in the west fighting for a spot. We won tonight and looks like we wont nudge anywhere on the standings, LA and Minny both got points...

Lets keep the wins coming!!

After not scoring in the first two thirds of the game I was worried we were going to be shut out. I'll admit the second goal against was a shot to the kidney's though.

The way the games have gone tonight so far is not incredibly helpful...

Getting tight now in the West, should be good hockey in the final stretch of the season.

Didn't get to see the game except for the SO. I noticed Hagman's ice time was cut drastically was he on the fourth line?

It was actually horrible. The LA and Minnesota was a 3 point game, and SJ beat Phoenix.

exactly...

and Chicago won... so really nothing changes except we're tied for 10th now... but a step is a step right... 5 points out of 4th... keep the sights high boys

Great job Flames, way to go.

Glad to see Stajan shoot. I saw in his stats he only has 40 shots on goal. Tanguay has 70. I know they both like to pass first, but shooting is also an option.

Keep on winning!

That had to be been some of the worst ice I have ever seen in a pro rink.

Flames keep on rollin'. They look like a whole different team now than what we saw in the first half.

Wow...I couldn't get over it either that was brutal. Also how many times did stripes get in the way of the puck down low in the corners. It was one of those games that whoever got the 2 points is lucky. Very solid and consistent effort again.

Backlund was huge after his neutral zone flub. He is the first forward back and makes a diving poke check at a very critical point in the game. This kid is for real, the offense will come, but how many kids his age are making those savvy defensive plays? Not many.

Sarich made up for a weaker game, with a nice hit and a sweet pinch for the late tying goal.

I love Tanguay on this team and hope he re-ups with us. Watching him pass is best described in the words of Peter Loubardias "An absolute pleasure to watch".

I've been saying all along that this team needs to win six in a row. If they do that, they are definitly a team to make the playoffs imo.

GO FLAMES!!!!
