His slow reaction time and lateral movement caused goal 1 and him playing the invisible pass, of cheating caused goal 2.
I know I'll get crucified for this, but he does not look good at all tonight. Well, he did make that one big save between the two goals. THAT looked good. But he didn't look that strong on the first goal (although it was not entirely his fault), and that second goal was simply putrid. I might also add that early in the period he twice played the puck unnecessarily, and both times lead to Penguin scoring opportunities. And to me that's the most frustrating thing; that he simply does not learn!
I don't think they should pull him. Let him come back and try to keep his team in the game. In the very least it should be incentive to get his act together and not overplay the puck just because he's got "mad puck handling skills."
Off the game.....Can anyone tell me why they recalled Wishart only not to play him? Was he returned to The Minors today? If He has not been sent back then something has got to be up cause he is missing playing time in the minors...... Makes No sense to me......
DP Does he still rank around 30th in goalies for Save% and GAA?
