If you don't mind a 8 minute walk or so, drive past the YH&66th st lights and take an immediate left (roughly 50 yards past intersection, before the GD overpass). Its a business/light industrial area. Free parking anywhere but 50 yards from the fire hydrants. You'll walk about 2 blocks by the time you come up to the Burns parking lot where people are paying 10 (or is it 12???) bucks to park. Upon leaving, you are right at the Yellowhead, and beyond the gongshow that is Gretzky Drive post game clear-out.
