Time to cue up the Fail Boat music......The Fail Boat....soon we'll be making another run. So appropriate for Groundhog Day. Hey Ratman, I'm sure you can find someone to replace Hortons spot on the Fail Boat. Has it been a year already?

I fell asleep after the 1st intermission yesterday. Dreamed that Olesz and Frolik kept taking the puck wide and shoot.. taking the puck wide and shoot.. taking the puck wide and shoot..

You are guilty of:

You changed the other names from the Habs board GDT but your forgot 'Frôleeeek' and 'Vokown'.

The Panthers love to pepper backup goaltenders with shots right into their pads and chest.

Auld will do well.

This forum used to have the best GDT's. That was before the last bit of care was beaten out of everyone two seasons ago. Now we just go through the motions.

If you want a healthy dose of sarcasm & bitterness, please check back in a few hours from now. After a decade of futility, we've gotten rather good at it.

Auld has done well this season. He's an excellent benchwarmer.

You may recall his stay here in Florida as a part of that fabulous Luongo trade that we love to revisit.

I think there are still some Auld/beachball avatars lurking in peoples picture folders.

Even his son prefers Carey Price. His wife said in an interview their son's hero is Carey Price. He always talk about him.

That's pretty funny. Poor Alex.

Number wins Auld had as a Panther = Number of games Todd Bertuzzi played as a Panther

The answer? 7...yes 7, also the number of goals Auld allowed to the Kings in one night.

So yeah, I don't miss him.

Not sure if I'm gonna cheer for a win or a loss here. Hate this semi-tanking stuff, it gets us nowhere.

Anyhow..

GO CATS GO!

Remember the time Auld tried to make a save with his backside while he was facing the net. That was awesome.

It's not the butter-fly style. It's the fly-booty style.

I actually like Auld as a backup so far. Price was clearly not handling well the pressure from Halak. The first thing Auld said when he signed in Montreal is that he would try to help Carey and try to contribute as the second goaltender. That's his place.

Olesz just needs to go. He doesn't add anything to the team. Not anymore anyway.
