Starting to quite like Ellerby. He could be a bit better positionally in the defensive zone though. He gets himself involved in the play when he is on the ice. Really like him hitting.

Habs fan, coming in peace.

If some of you wonder where Dadonov is...

Joel Bouchard from RDS just he saw him in the first period, showing his hand to the Panthers trainer. Bouchard saw his hand, and told him "either he has a malformation, or he fractured/dislocated one of his fingers".

The Habs doctor was with Dadonov for a while. Dadonov seemed calmed and not especially in pain.

That's it.

Thanks for the update. I'm surprised our broadcast team hasn't mentioned that.

Garrison is really pretty bad. Did he just pass that puck back to the Montreal forward for a give and go?

I've been saying this all year!! He always turns the puck over! When he's on the ice just focus on him and you'll see he many dumb plays he makes per game!

Garrison is a 3rd pairing D man, who all things considered has not played badly this year, considering he's been going up against the opposing team's top lines all year.

I really don't know how anyone could be disappointed in his play.

Focus on no knees Allen, instead.

By the way, it's a good thing Wideman provides offense because he's absolutely useless, defensively. The guy should consider making a move to forward.

thank god someone else realizes, i've heard so many people say how good he is....he is mediocre. 6th defenseman nothing more.

Have to agree.

He is a 3rd line pairing defenseman. Nothing more. Think the reason why him and Weaver are a good "shutdown" unit is more because of Weaver.

Averaging over 21 minutes of ice time, has played several games against the opposing team's top lines, and he's a +1 despite only having 7 points. I really don't think he's as terrible as you're making him out to be, defensively.

Plus, he's only 26, and fairly cheap for the next two years.

Definitely not a problem.

Disagree. He's not having a good game tonight, but he's hardly "useless" defensively. He has had plenty of nights when he played decently defensively.

Erick never said he was bad. just that he is not as good as people have been saying. i have no problem with him playing 3rd pairing. he's just not good at anything, but not really bad at anything either. he does make boneheaded moves though.

Habs score again!
Can we leave Bryan Allen in Montreal tonight? Speaking of guys who aren't particularly good at anything. And he's actually overpaid...
