What? .890 Save % and 3.42 GAA is good enough to win the Vezina...

Would be nice if DB coudl stop being so damned coy for a change and just be straightforward with Malkin's status, preferrably BEFORE the pre-game skate.

Unfortunately, he's not out to help us on HFBoards decide on our First Goal Pick 'Em.

There's really no incentive to making that information public.

According to a tweet i got earlier, don't remember from who, Malkin skated hard today. I'm optimistic, but I don't think it's vital he comes back today

Do you think Bylsma takes into consideration additional ice time or lines for the players that show up for optional skates? Just because Geno and Kennedy always seem to be showing up. I'd like to see Geno and Kennedy play together. Maybe...

Tangradi - Malkin - Kennedy

?

Over/under 10 minutes of ice time for the Big Dog tonight?

Me thinks 9:14 ES TOI playing between with Adams and Godard.

Love the idea of cloning Craig Adams, but how does that count against the cap?

Usually it's difficult to watch a game in February against a team like the Islanders. However, I'm actually pumped for the game. Hopefully tonight's game is as exciting as last game. The Islanders always skate hard and finish their checks.

Go Pens

It's weird watching the Penguins these days. You want to see Malkin and Crosby back so badly but at the same time I love watching the blue-collar efforts of this team.

Last time we played them, DiPietro had a very good game.

Which pisses me off. We seem to turn crappy goalies into Vezina-candidates on a regular basis.

Doesn't look like Geno is playing tonight. Damn, I just have a feeling were gonna come out really flat tonight

DiPietro is the same way against us that he is against everyone...Vezina caliber occasionally, garbage fill-in others.

Hopefully we'll see the latter version tonight.

I'd feel more confident of that being the case if Sid and Geno were healthy and in the line up. As it is, even if DP is in sieve-mode, it's still going to be guys like Kennedy, Dupuis, and Talbot firing shots at his chest all night.
