I think some Ranger fans are definitely jealous. I'm jealous of 3 cups in 9 years. I'm obviously not jealous of the last few years, though.

There's definitely a bit of jealousy from both fan bases in a lot of different situations.

Sorry dude.
I love when people bring this up.

Fun fact:

Between the ages of 23-27...

Martin Brodeur: 1995-2000, faced an average of 24.4 shots/game.
Henrik Lundqvist: 2005-2010, faced an average of 27.7 shots/game.

So, in reality, during the beginning of both players' rise to prominence, Lundqvist only faced an average of 3.3 more shots per game.

But Marty NEVER saw any shots on goal, correct?

All the goaltending records in the world will never hide the fact that Marty is a DIRTBAG.

I'm starting to blush.

And some people here really need to stop making the rest of us look bad. The attendance jokes and whatnot don't look good in a debate or argument. Just makes us look stupid and jealous. Marty's a great goalie and was dominant in his prime. Now as to whether he was the best ever is up for debate but throwing out statements like he was never dominant and any above average goalie would of put up the same stats is asinine.
Yeah, enough with the strawman arguments. They don't do anything other than piss people off, and make us look incompetent when it comes to debating. I don't personally think Brodeur is *the* greatest, but he's easily top-3, if just for records/awards alone.
