Have the Flames won in Atl since the Thrashers came into the league? Would be nice to win in the city where the Flames once called home.

No, the Calgary Flames have never won in Atlanta, oddly enough.

0-5-1, if I'm not mistaken.

Word is Bouma will not be joining the team in Atlanta.

Dean Molberg is actually sayin' that Bouma is back with the Heat and Hagman will play tonight.

Boy if there was ever a time to pull off a first career win, this is it.

Second straight game I'll be missing due to class, so I'm gonna have to catch the highlights later on tonight.

2-1 Flames

Backlund and Iggy for the Flames.
Enstrom on the PP for the Thrashers.

Yeah, he said it on air earlier this morning, about an hour ago. It's possible I misunderstood him, though.

I guess if Bouma had been re-assigned to Abbotsford, it would be on twitter by now. Since I'm seeing nothing about it, leads me to believe maybe I didn't hear Boomer right.

In which case...

Lance Bouma has been recalled by the #flames. Won't join Flames in Atlanta due to weather in the US

Sucks Bouma isn't going to be able to make it.

I really liked him when he was playing for the Giants. Hardworking player. And from all accounts great character player.

I'll be bold and say the Flames take this one 4-1 - it's not so much our team playing solid hockey, it's Atlanta playing shaky.

Weird. It's not like Atlanta's had a powerhouse team either.

Thanks.

Definitely haven't been a push over though either, teams going in to play them with that mid set easily come out with a loss.

C-Notes: Niklas Hagman will miss tonight's game with an undisclosed injury. Steve Staios draws in either as the seventh defenceman and/or fourth line forward. Reports out of Abbotsford had the Flames calling up 20-year-old Lance Bouma, but inclement weather made that impossible. He could still surface in Calgary on Friday or Saturday, depending on whether Hagman is ready to go. Still no official word from the team on any call-ups from the farm.
