I thought we were done with softies after Turco left. Wasn't that what people claimed would happen?

Ribs has been really weak on the puck tonight, his first bad game in a while.

Yes, we thought THERE WOULD NEVER BE ANOTHER SOFT GOAL again...

Keep fighting those battles. Turco sucks.

Niskanen fails to hold the zone, takes a penalty.

What a worthless hockey player. He needs a portable backstop behind him at all times.

Pretty effective kill, lots of effort still being given.

Turco has been terrible this year.

But the Stars goaltending tonight has been worse. Goals on the first two shots against and an uber-softie when they had momentum.

And it hasn't been good for the last couple weeks either. This game is not that much of an aberration.

Beautiful quick pass by Richards to Daley for the opportunity. It's amazing how far ahead he's thinking at all times.

Daley needed to pass that to Neal through the open seam rather than shooting.

Niskanen gets the puck after a great Loui/Brichards exchange, instantly turns it over.

And yet, someone saw it fit to sign him to a 6 year deal with NTC. The guy doesn't make smart decisions.

Down two and not much offensive zone time. I understand it.

Ribs and Niskanen combine to give Boston a 6-3 lead.

6-3 is somehow less embarrassing than 4-1 at least.

Only question remaining is will Dallas fulfill their quota of 7 goals-against?

I'm really embarrassed for the Stars. They got manhandled this whole game, played like **** for the first 40 min., and just when they look like they got back into it Kari lets in a goal. What a disastrous night! And I can already tell tomorrow is going to be just as bad.

Ever since Raycrap lost that 7-4 hockey game to Calgary, the Stars wheels have just fallen off. If we make the playoffs it sure as hell won't be as division leaders.

And that's all she wrote and she'll write again as the circus of shame continues its tour into Philly.

It's fair to say the Stars have been beaten into submission with the proverbial measuring stick.

He's not to blame for tonight. We should never have gotten into a "getting back into the game" situation in the first place.

There's a serious problem in Dallas at the moment.

7-4 Calgary
7-1 Vancouver
4-1 Vancouver
6-3 Boston

That's 4 out of our last 5 games and they've all been blowouts. Thankfully we got a win against Edmonton even though they outplayed us. Getting Benn and Fistric back will help but we really need to get this turned around or it will be a short playoff run if we even hold on to make it. Our great goaltending is no longer masking our below average defense. Niskanen is garbage and should be a healthy scratch every game. He really needs to be moved even if it's just for a bag of pucks.
