"The List"

So Quinn's comment about improving the team and that they have a very short list of players they can not trade has spawned a little speculation in a few places, so why not just have one thread for it.

My 2 cents: it's Miller and Myers. Very. Short. I doubt much else is on there outside of maybe Ennis from the current roster.

Gerbe, Ennis, and Byron. Pegula has a midget fetish.

In all seriousness, definitely Miller and Myers. If Pegula knows anything about the value of centers, Roy may be on it, as well. I think Ennis and possibly Vanek, as well.

It would be interesting to see. I also imagine it's not incredibly long. There are only a few invaluable players on this roster.

Oh, ok. Interesting. I wasn't able to hear the presser.

Also, apparently I didn't read the first post in this thread very thoroughly.

Haven't had a chance to listen to the conference yet. Did they say just a short list on the current roster or are prospects involved to such as Kassian etc.?

Miller
Myers
Roy's not going anywhere with his injury, but he might be on there.

Kaleta and McCormick, but mostly for the lulz, I'm sure they're not on the actual list.

Someone should have asked a follow up question (or if they did I missed it) - is there a list of players Pegula would like to see traded, in case he's not in charge by the deadline?

Maybe Ennis
Maybe Roy

Not sure if they would include prospects on the list, but I doubt it.

Someone did ask if there was anyone Terry asked to be moved. It was part of the non-Bucky snark.

Hard to say if Roy is as appealing to Pegula as he was to Regier/Quinn; we always read and heard how proud the incumbents were about the "value" they signed for Roy at, relative to his on-ice production each year. Yet, WGR and TBN have dropped references a few times in the past of how Roy doesn't seem to be that well respected or liked in the locker room.

Ennis seems a logical candidate only because he's still in the "untapped potential" category. I'd think Vanek is on the list too, simply for the fact that he's the only natural goal scorer on the roster at the moment.

Bucky was probably begging for any kind of hint with the name "Connolly" or "Hecht" in it.

Must have missed it - though now that I think about it, it's not like they can really answer that question. "Yes, we've finally given up on that ****ing bum Tim Connolly. There, I admit it. Are you happy Bucky? Now GTFO."

I honestly wonder. Darcy is still here after Pegula takes over, so I don't think he's going to go nuts and trade Myers or Miller. The feeling I get is that Pegula doesn't want them to sell at the deadline, he would rather see them make the playoffs. So who would we be selling, those three guys.

Of course it could be exactly the opposite. He doesn't want us trading Byron, Adam or Enroth for a veteran, because we're not winning the cup this year.

My List would be from current NHL roster:
Myers
Ennis
Miller(though i would listen to any offers)

I feel everyone else including Vanek would be fair game if we can quality picks/players...

Hecht and Pominville.

Seriously, next press conference:

"Well, Tyler (Myers) wasn't performing to our standards and we didn't feel his value would ever be higher than it is right now."
