I don't much care what happens. They meander along as they have been, I'll be worried. They win, I'll be too worried to be excited. I mean, I hope for a win, but I'd be just as happy with a loss where they showed...life, fire, heart, the aspects we haven't seen much of this year.

If they respond they should fire BB and make GMGM the coach. BB has failed miserably at getting them to respond.
Yeah, a goal would be nice. This offense is mind bottling. Even a terrible team like Columbus will occasionally throw up a 5 spot. The most defensive of defensive teams in the league(Boston) will fluke into the occasional 7 goal game. Christ, even the AHL-caliber New York Islanders back into a pair of 5 goal games every month.
It defies all logic. How can not 1 team have an off night against the Capitals? There was the 1 game against the Flames, but that was in October. It shouldn't even be mathematically possible* to suck at scoring goals this much.
*On account of not having enough fingers and toes, I didn't actually do the math.
I think the Caps are going to play desperate. I would not be at all surprised to see them win. I am not expecting anything but ugly goals from secondary players, though.
Honestly if the Caps fell behind 4-0 and Ov broke out with a 3rd period clinic and 3 goals, i'd be happier than if they won 2-0 off goals by Hendricks and Bradley and a shutout from Varly.
I am sort of expecting 2-0 with Hendricks and Bradley. Maybe a ppg from Green or Knuble. I dont predict much, but thats the feeling I have. They need to prove something and tonight and sunday are their chances to prove something.

Everyone is posting there wishes. I just hope for an exciting game. I wouldn't be so unhappy with losses if the team wasn't so lackluster, uncaring, and boring. At least make it fun in a loss. Throw some big hits, get in some big scrums. Do something that is fun to watch. Hell how about Varly v Roloson, maybe Varly can knock him out so we can score 5 on Ellis.
