Boedker or Turris

What would it take to get one of or both of these players

Turris will not be moved without a Franchise player coming back the other way. However Boedker could be moved for a high to mid first and a mid-level prospect.

EDIT: Seeing that you're from Toronto think a 2012 1st + Jesse Blacker.

both are guys who would only be moved to get something much better, not parted out to get more picks/prospects.

I know Jesse Blacker and I don't think he'd like that...

Islanders 1st (likely top 3) is worth more than Turris. Not even arguable.

Boedkker and Comeau are similar values

crushed man, he loves toronto and he's from toronto.

Boedker is a person id want from the yotes, I dont think the yotes would be interested in parting with turris. I'd hands down turris if it was possible but i doubt it would even happen.

How so? Turris was the 3rd overall draft pick in his draft year. Not sure what he did to have his stock drop so much. And you must be an Isles fan if you think Boedkker and Comeau are similar values. Don't get me wrong Comeau is a decent 3rd liner, but Boedkker has 1st line potential in Phoenix.

Turris is only 21 years old and is developing as the Yotes 1C... he has the best shot on the team and has 35+G potential... he's going to be a star player just because he has not got there as fast as some others does not mean it will not happen.

Boedker turned 21 at the end of December... one of the fastest players in hockey... back checks hard... has an upside similar to Hemsky... he's developing well

Considering that Turris was a top pick, he hasnt developed that well.

I thought Boedker has gone backward.

I'd prefer to get Boedker. Cause he'd take less to get, and then we could have the "breakfast line" with two danishes!!!!!

- Turris was a project when he was drafted at 160lbs... was rushed to the NHL at 19... the Yotes fixed development last year at 20 allowing him to kill the AHL which he did from January 1st on... this season should have been his rookie season if he was handled properly... his development has been fixed and is back on track.

- Boedker another player rushed to the NHL at 19... 20 allowed to refocus in the A refining his game... this year has been San Antonio's best two-way player and has 34Pts in 36GP with a couple NHL callups... Another player the Yotes took a step back with so he could take two steps forward.

I hate to rate players based on their draft status, but Turris himself was a 3rd overall pick and is still young.

ok...just saying their development has been rocky....it's still early so anything can happen
