Most Goals

Back in November, I created a poll to see who people felt would be our leading goal scorer by year's end. The majority felt that Gaborik would end the year with the most goals.

Now 2 and 1/2 months later, I'm wondering what people think, given Gaborik's struggles and the emergence of other players in the goal scoring race.

So, who do you think ends the season with the most goals? Current goal totals with 28 games remaining:

Boyle 18
Dubinsky 17
Gaborik 16
Stepan 14
Callahan 12
Anisimov 11

If it's not Gaborik, this team is in trouble.

I'm guessing it will be in this order:

1) Gaborik
2) Dubinsky
3) Callahan
4) Boyle
5) Anisimov
6) Stepan

Gaborik, i'm thinking somewhere in the realm of 30 goals.

I could see it being Dubinsky, but realistically, it's still gotta be Gaborik. I can't see him not managing to break 30 and it would be really unexpected if Dubinsky or Boyle did break 30, so I voted Gabby.

I think 30 goal for Gaborik is pretty ambitious. That's 16 goals in 28 games for a guy who hasn't shown a scoring touch game in and game out. 10 of his 14 goals have come in 3 games.

Yup, I don't see him hitting 30 unless he magically becomes '09-'10 Gaborik out of nowhere.

No one will get more than 25-26. Wouldn't be surprised if that turns out to be Stepan, but probably Duber.

No more games left against Toronto, and we only play the Islanders two more times. I'd be shocked if Gaborik scored 30 this year.

I still can't believe Boyle has 18 goals. Won't doubt he'll hit 30 this year. Really impressive.

i'd say gabs'll have a few more multi-goal games against bottom feeders and lead the team
