FEBRUARY SCHEDULE:
QUOTES TO NOTE:
Losing is losing. I think we’ve been playing some pretty good hockey.
But it’s a matter of executing on the PP and getting a bounce here or there.
- Ryan Callahan
It was a big four-point night, and it was a tough loss.
But our goal is still there and we keep our eyes on it. We have to keep focused and get ourselves going.
- Martin Biron
I am really frustrated with a few of our guys on that power play.
We're struggling at the point. We just don’t have a real quarterback on the PP.
Tonight we couldn’t even make two passes, and we’re a better team than that.
- John Tortorella

Is Henrik confirmed? I'd go back to Biron if I was Torts. Let Hank have a whole week off.
Either way, LGR!

Howard hasn't been too hot, I've heard. Have to TRY and take advantage of that.
Would be huge to break the slide against the Wings.

This has the feeling of one of those games we as fans expect to lose, and will therefore win.
Dropping 5 straight would be a serious problem. Especially with our lineup the way it is.

Maybe when our team sees the Red Wings they'll start to understand the concept of scoring on the power play.

It has nothing to do with concepts. If we had Lidstrom on the point we'd score on the powerplay too.

I've heard Datsyuk should be returning for this game.

Hope Zuc doesn't recosnider and switch sides halfway through the game. I predict partway through the 1st he smashes Torts with a chair and then rips off his ranger jersey to show a red wing underneath. the crowd will boo wildly and he'll tell them all to shut their damn mouths because they are classless...wait that's the WWE how the hell did I confuse WWE with NHL? (You know you';re tired when you post like this)
I also hope they win this game we expect them to lose. The way this team is I wouldn't be surprised if we got 7-1-2 or something after going what is it 2-6-2 the last ten? Hopefully today will kick start that.
gabs sighting today?

There are 22 teams with better powerplays than the Rangers and Lidstrom only plays for one of them. The Red Wings success is due to more than simply their personnel. There are other reasons for why teams like the Red Wings and the Penguins lose key players for extended periods of time and continue to do certain things well. Time to stop making excuses and get it together.

Little OT but Loffen, are you making a new Rangers montage soon? Seems like forever since you've made one.
