And Richards really needs to come off the point. His poor decision making on when he pinches and the lack of a second D is really, really hurting this team on the PP.
I haven't really watched a game since the Edmonton win, but this team just doesn't look right. Something is way off, I hope whoever said that the flu might be going around is right.
The defense has reverted to last season form, Richards is tired and can't lead the power play anymore, not to mention everyone in the league knows the PP runs through him, so they pressure him at the point and we give up shorties. Neal's confidence is in the dumps, and we have no secondary scoring to talk of. Oh and everyone's read the book on how to beat Kari.
The only good thing is we have the entire month of Feb to figure this out before the Pacific Division stretch in March. Better to slump now and get it together then. Let's hope that happens.
Well at least there's a pair you can always rely on. Sucks to hear all that. You can sort of see a lack of confidence and I think it's translating to losing little puck battles we've been so amazing at winning throughout the season.
They really turned it around in the last half of that second. If they can take the momentum forward and keep playing the way they did in the third, we may tie this up.
Don Cherry... He's such a seriously obnoxious self important old fart, can't we just lock him up in an old folks home somewhere and forget about him... He's giving Canadians a bad name...
If we end up lossing this game do you possibly think we could fall apart and instead of trying to stretch our lead in the Pacific division we could be fighting for a playoff spot at the end of the year?

Anything is possible with this much time left.
But they are playing better tonight, at least so far.

I'm questioning if this team has enough gas to make it to the playoffs because they look bloody defeated to me.
I'm calling it right now. That 7-4 loss in Calgary is the turning point for Dallas. The wheels have already begun to fall off.
