Has Cheechoo really lost a step, or is it that Benn Ferriero has been spending a lot of time in SJ?

A bruised kidney, while painful, is not something that would get in the way of mobility once healed.

Anyone notice the comments where some guy went on a rant about how the economy being in the position it is in that spending 15k on dinner is inappropriate?

I wish I was in food services at the place they ate at. At 18% thats a 2700 dollar tip.

Capital fans woe: Greene out with concussion

Question is: will the Caps step up to work harder with their stalwart blue liner out of lineup?

Sure but Eager Beaver, Juicy Cooter, and Wellwood, think of all the line names we can come up with...

$650 on booze and I might miss a few games with "flu-like symptoms".

With Poti out as well the only guy they can really look to for offensive support on the back end is Carlson. I think we might be looking at a really tight game.

Whats up with all the rookies being bums? Douglas Murray had to pick up their tab?! Haha. According to Couture all their cards were maxed out.

Often it would be ~$10,000 on each rook's card.

Tell me you have that much free on your card?

Wouldn't be surprised to learn the guys ordered a few $500-1000 bottles of champagne, perhaps a few multi-hundred dollar bottles of wine, and ended the night with $400-500 shots of brandy (Louis XIV). And the food was maybe $100-150/person.

Doubt they were all that drunk, actually.

Massive restaurant bill and not a single Wellwood joke about it?

For shame!

You're assuming that it was only 23 people that ate. What about the coaching staff, training staff, equipment, etc. We don't know who else was at the table, but I'd bet it was more than just the players.

Nice! Thanks Apple... That article is pretty hilarious.

Quote:
Waiting for them was the archivist, David Ferriero. The archivist grew up in Massachusetts, where boys are required to know how to play hockey, "although I wouldn't call what I did playing hockey," he confessed. His second cousin, Benn Ferriero, plays for the Sharks and had set up the tour three months ago. But the sports gods are nothing if not fickle, and on Sunday night, Benn was sent to the team's minor-league franchise in Worcester, Mass.

"You'd think they could have waited a day," the archivist muttered.
hahaha!
