Word from a friend who was at practice is that Stillman got injured there, apparently we're awaiting more word.

I would.

I'm going against the grain with my prediction of first to go:

Hordichuk to Boston

But I dont think it'll take long after to see guys like McCabe to the Rangers, etc.

I'm just sayin' Stillman would still be used as a top 6 winger. Not so much with Reasoner

No playoff team should be using Stillman as a top 6 winger.

Stillman can definitely play on the second line of a playoff team.

it depends... on a team like Pitt maybe, but a team like Van, Phi, or Bos probably not

Yes he can but should he really? To me, at this point of his career, he's kinda a tweener winger. Capable scorer still but not quite fast enough. I think ideally he's suited as a top 9 winger who can play some duties on a 2nd line but primarily should be used on a 3rd line but also getting PP time (isnt that what he is on the Panthers?).

He technically hasnt really been on a scoring line this yr for the Panthers and we're more of a pretender than contender for the playoffs. A real playoff contender would be more likely deeper and more talented than the Panthers so I would assume those type of teams would use Stillman in a supplimentary type of scoring role.

the two play a totally different game. stillman is meant to put up points, while reasoner is supposed to kill penalties and limit the scoring chances for the opposing teams top players.

in my book reasoner is worth more than stillman

Yeah, his 21 points, seven beautiful goals, coupled with his lightning speed and discipline in the offensive zone would allow him to walk onto any playoff team's second line.

To be fair (and I want Stillman gone), Stillman would have more than 21 points on most teams.

He's still very smart passing the puck; it's not his fault that he's a playmaker passing the puck on a team with no real goal scorers.
