Reimer handled it pretty good. I don't even think the reporters are too harsh in Toronto, they tow the line. never ask tough questions to the likes of Burke/Wilson. they're little agitators not real hard hitting journalists. The post game conference questions wilson fields are pretty softballish for example.

Are you ****ing kidding me? I'm not the biggest fan of Howard, but these are grown ****ing men. If they can't take some criticism from the media than they don't have the mental toughness to be in the league.

Ridiculous..

I don't see what was so negative about the questions/comments made but regardless, Reimer handled himself well. I don't think I could dislike Reimer even if I wanted to. He's so calm and easy going and his appreciation for the opportunity can't go unnoticed. He takes accountability for his losses with no excuses (even when his team doesn't always support him) and he credits his team for his wins even when he has kept the team alive in a number of instances in the games he's played with them. He's a classy guy and I hope Wilson gives him the opportunity to play against Atlanta on Monday.

You don't want to know which goalie is starting on a given day? Someone has to ask it.

On the subject of Berger, I didn't really think it was bad. I've seen other players in different cities that had to answer a lot tougher questions than that. Reimer handled it well.

If you have an ad blocking program running or something similiar very good chance it is blocking it, check the settings, most likely the issue.

Eh, not too bad.

What I take away from this is more how Reimer handled it. Good for him.

the maturity for his age is amazing. He is able to handle the media with relative ease which for sure will make him a very good personnel with the media and good reputation.

There is no one I despise more in sports media than Howard. Damien Cox and Pierre McGuire are tied for a close second.

I wish MLSE would just get rid of Howard. Bar him from Air Canada Center for life!

EDIT:haha, on subject of the video, I didn't actually think it was that bad. I just want to share my opinion on Howard.

I stayed at the same hotel as the Leafs did (they were there on Saturday when I was arriving) and I rode the elevator with Reimer down pre-game. He's an incredible person and I had a brief conversation with him. Introduced myself, and shook his hand. He introduced himself as James. No one in the hotel recognized him, but a lot of the other leafs got attention. That being said, there was a woman on the elevator who says, "You better have a good game, or else. I did drive all the way from Toronto." He nervously laughed. He's a year younger than I am and has the pressure of a city on him right now. Berger didn't do anything wrong here. I'm sure James (I call him that now because he introduced himself to me that way ) probably knows full well that third goal was a bad one, and that he needs to be better.

Giggy is a great person to have around for this, even if he is the king of soft goals. Have no fear, the media is a joke to these guys.

You get my drift though.

PS. Thank you for unnecessarily being a dick about it. It shows a lot of class from new members of the forums when they have nothing whatsoever to contribute to the thread.

Wow, you took that way too personally. It wasn't even an insult. Just thought I'd lighten the mood up around here. It feels like my screen is going to crack with all the tension.
