As a golfer I think that line is funny. Ahlers sucks and so does Joe Beninati. Randy Hahn might be worse than both of them. Jack Edwards sucks too.

randy hahn doesn't suck. i can see being annoyed by beninati, but i find him enjoyable to listen to.

Mike Emrick is so ****ing terrible. I cannot believe he is in the hall of fame of all things.... if he's doing a game, I usually mute the TV.

Changes are still rolling in...

This Tuesday's Sabres/Canadiens game on Versus will be a Versus production, but they are using Gord Miller for PBP for the first time ever. He'll be with Pierre McGuire inside the glass. Miller is the #1 PBP guy for TSN's games in Canada.

Here's a sampling of Gord and Pierre:



Reminds me a bit of Gary Thorne with his excitement but unlike Thorne he pronounces the players names correctly.

Dave Strader (excellent PBP guy for Phoenix), Billy Jaffe and Brian Engblom will be calling Washington vs. Phoenix on Monday.

Excellent news. Definitely much better talent than the Beninatis of the world. If only they'd also dump Emrick, that would be perfect (though I'm sure it ain't gonna happen any time soon).
