Re-united and it feels so good.

Sharp-Toews-Kane skating together during practise today. Bouwer with Kopecky/Hossa, third and fourth lines intact. Hammer didn't practise, more then likely sore from the 4+ blocks last night.

Q also was working the guy hard with 1-on-1 drills, many players on knee's catching breaths.

Whats Hossa looking like? There any indications he might have a nagging injury at all?

That line's going to have negative backchecking.

Oh.. I wish I was at the practise.

No, I was just relaying Tweets from Rogers/Kuc.

Agreed.

Kopecky has to play with Hossa. It's a clause in Hoss' deal.

Clause 1.10 states:

"Yeah, like, my BFF gets to play where I want him too play. The coach is like whatevs and Kopecky is like ma boy."

No two ways around it, Q has no choice.

This is what I'd try out if we want to really change things up:

ES Ice time
35% Sharp-Toews-Kane
30% Bickell-Bolland-Brouwer
25% Kopecky-Dowell-Hossa
10% Stalberg-Johnson-Skille

Um.. why?

You'd give Hossa the least amount of ice-time out of all our "stars"? Then what.. people would get even more mad at him for not producing?

Sharp and Toews are both good and willing back checkers... I think the forecheck could be an issue with that line but with how much skill those 3 have together that might not be an issue, I doubt there would be much dump and chase with those 3... all puck possession.

He's been neither good nor willing this year. I thought he was good in the PO's last year but his D, or at least the effort level, has been trending downward since 07/08.

Who are you guys thinking would be the 2nd line C if we got one? I'm really liking the idea of getting wiess that's been floating around lately, but I don't know what we'd have to give up for him.

I hope it would be a good 2nd line LWer who can play the PK, PP and plays well defensively so we can kick Kopecky down to the bottom 6. I don't really have a problem with Sharp at center...
