What do you think the price range for the jerseys will be?

It will be interesting to see. I wouldn't be surprised if the anniversary patch jerseys go for 15-25% more than they normally would and the thirds could be a bit more than that.

The springfield's are interesting, but man, what a lame jersey. I hope they're due for a redesign at some point.

I would like the Calvert jersey, but for the price it will go for, I would want it signed as well. I did see the Atkinson jersey was signed.

As for some of the others, do game used minor league jerseys of players that may not likely ever play in the NHL really fetch $250 or more?

Not really, but teams that sell them will try to get that. Sometimes the team has enough fans who simply like the players at that level, so they will usually sell even the biggest of no-names.

Regarding autographs, I really lean the other way. If I want it signed, I'll get it signed. I don't really like not having a choice when a team has them signed prior to sale. For a guy like Atkinson or Calvert, I don't think getting it signed around Nationwide one night would be that tough. IMO, a signature makes a game worn jersey worth less to me unless I'm the one getting it signed. I might be goofy this way, but I want it as close to 'on ice' as possible.

I may try to bid on one of these. Not sure what one yet, I am waiting to hear back about sizes on a couple.

The blue jerseys will be up for auction after the white auction is over.

Wooten, to answer you question about the jersey prices, I would guess that at least 75% of the jerseys will get at least one bid.

I doubt anyone is interested, but it's a good price. Hard to touch a captain's jersey for that, but few would want a Foote I'm sure. It looks to me like it could be a team issue or gamer because of the lack of RBK neck tag. Hard to tell for sure. It's also a 56, not 50 as the description says:

Yeah to bad there is not better info on the listing. As much as a hate him if it was a gamer I would pay $200 for it.

How are the signings out in CBJ, looking to get a RJ Umberger jersey signed.

Also, why do you guys hate Foote?

Players sign after every practice and all non game day practices are open to the public. So it is not to had to get an auto if you want one.

As for Foote he is a yellow belly traitor that quit on his team. But on the bright side we did get RJ thanks to Foote being such a POS.

Although Colorado was absolutely fleeced on the deal, CBJ fans, self included, still have a very bitter taste in their mouths about how he left town. How much is fact or fiction we do not know, but where there's smoke, there's fire, and I've yet to hear any significant correction or rebuttal from anyone in the CBJ org about what was written. Bottom line, it was at best a bush league move, from a captain, no less.

I don't think getting things signed is all that hard. Try the draft party in June, or any practice that isn't on a game day. They also have various appearances set up at local CBJ stores, the Chiller ice rinks and sometimes after certain games an organized autograph event is held.

Is it a team issue then? didn't see the retail authentic neck tag.

Don't know why I'm asking...as compelling as it is for $200, I'd rather spend it on a 3 year supply of potato chips than have a Foote jersey in the closet.

I asked if it was game worn or a team issue and the reply wad just "not game worn".

If it's from the 2007-08 season, the regular neck tag would have been removed and replaced with a strip tag that had a serial number stamped into it. There's a good example here:

Thanks mayor. I think it had to be that year, since it's an edge and that's the only year he wouldve worn the edge.

Neat bit of history either way. Too bad he was such a d-bag

heh. I guess. The title of resident jersey guy has to go to Mayor though. Dude knows his stuff. Wish I could get the old timers to post more pics of their stuff. Maybe eventually!

Just to jump in on this, another way to conclude its not a gamer is that a quick glance on Meigray indicates Foote has always worn a 58 or 58+ in Colorado since the Edge were introduced in 07/08.

Thanks! I always forget to check the sizes unless I'm actually buying it. That's certainly one of the best ways to narrow something down.

Do they list any sizes of those jerseys? I might be interested in one but I don't see what sizes any of them are.
