Great Wright! I almost pulled the trigger on that one a couple of times because of the good price and who it was. Good to see you get it and Goaliemon89 make the sale!

Last day for the Falcons away blue jersey auction. Many don't have bids so you might be able to get one for less than $250 if you wait until it's over and contact the team directly.

Yeah I had been tempted by it for months (Goaliemon had it posted in so many places that every time I do some type of CBJ Google image search it would pop up ) and finally had to pull the trigger. Now I really am done buying jerseys until 6/24.

Is that when the rest of the 10/11 jerseys go on sale?

That is not Dye-Sublaminated. Dye-Sublaminated is what Euro Jersey's do. Instead of sewing on Logos, numbers, etc... They dye the fabric, and then place a clear coat over top of it, to prevent it from bleeding, etc...

"Smooth fit" is a better name for what the numbers are on the Falcons Jerseys.

Sublimation is the process by which a solid converts instantly to gas without a stopover in the liquid phase. European jerseys are almost entirely sublimated, but it's also possible to do it to any of a number of substrates (tile, twill, nylon, and so on). Of course, they know how to do it right...if you've ever seen something like an old Houston Aeros alternate from around 2000 (made by OT Sports), they bled from red to white pretty badly.

Correct. But almost all Dye-Sublimation printers, have a clear Overcoat that is applied at the end. It is supposed to make the ink's resistant to things like water.

Another form of Dye-Sublimation is Photographs - although I don't know too many people who don't do Digital Imaging, but older photographs were Dye-Sublimation printed.

I'm looking to add a 2011 All Star Jersey. I found some online, but they dont offer customizations. NHL & Icejerseys dont have any in stock. I insist on Reebok and not counterfeits. Anyone have any suggestions on where I could get a blank customized.

May I ask where you found some blanks online? And the best place to get them customized is www.exclusivepro.com/customjerseys.html their site sucks but they know how to do ASG Jerseys.

Thanks guys. It really is better looking than I had imagined. It was sort of an accident that I got this particular one. I wanted the 2008-09 MacKenzie third with the A but they couldn't find it, so the syracuse folks suggested the unlisted 2009-10 one above...it was even cheaper, since it was not game worn. They wore the third three times that season...Derek was only in one of those games, and that jersey was given away after the game for a promotion. He was called up before the other games were held in March/April 2010 apparently (I need to look all of this up).

I like Derek and his game, so it's exactly the kind of player that I like to have represented in my stuff.

Here is what I found. They have both some East & West. Haven't yet pulled the trigger. I'm leery of ebay, but this looks legit. What do you think?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...X:eRTM:US:1123

Here is something else I just found. They have the premiers for $60 and the edges for $150. 2008 All Star game. I'm thinking of getting Nash on the jersey. He had a hat trick in that game.

The ebay link looks good, only problem with the replicas is that the crest is to high and the front numbers do not look right once they are put on, only way to make it look right is to remove the crest and restitch it lower down or leave the numbers off. Also to bad they only have XL, I need a XXL.

As for the 08 I have been eying rivercity and want to pick up one of them some time soon.

The sucky thing is that they only have 50 and 52. 52 edges fit like a sock on guys like me with a little meat on their bones :^) If it were a 2.0, it might be tolerable to wear for most of us, but unfortunately it's not. I'm holding out hope someone will put a 56 on ebay again sometime.

I agree on the replicas from this year. they don't look right when customized. unfortunately, finding an authentic team staal is just about friggin impossible.

some detail questions...one I asked earlier in the thread, and I thought someone answered me, but I can't find it now...

How many games did stinger patch home jerseys get worn in 2003-04? I'm guessing only one + possible preseason use?

When the original thirds were unveiled and worn in 2003, were they given away immediately following that first game in a JOTB promotion? Seems like I heard that somewhere.

The preseason games they wore the Stinger jersey. Then they wore the Away Stinger jersey on 10/9/03 Vs Atlanta and the Home Stinger jersey on 10/11/03 Vs New York Rangers. On 10/13/03 they wore the 3rds for the first time and the Stinger patch was no more.

I was at the game on 10/13 and I do not remember a JOTB but it could have happened.
