Got 3 new additions in the past 24 hours.

Frist one is a 2005 Katrina Relief Fund jersey. These were worn during the 1st period of the first home game of 2005 and then auctioned off to raise money for the Katrina Fund. This one is a Steven Goertzen and was never used because Goertzen was one of the last cuts that preseason and they must have already had these made up before he was sent down.

The next two just came from EPS. This is my first order from EPS and I am happy with how they turned out.

David Vyborny Away Authentic.

And last a 2009 Rick Nash Replica All Star Jersey. This one I think I am going to have the screen printed All Star Patch replaced with a real one and I am going to strip the Jock Tag.

Those look great. Really dig the Vyborny. Looks like they did a fantastic job. The CBJ jersey seems to be tough for customizers to do correctly. What nameplate material did they use on the Vybes? I have a 2005-7 third blank authentic I need to have done. Might have to send that to EPS along with a 2004 Western All-Star.

Thanks and thanks again for the hook up.

The Vyborny is the first Jackets jersey that I did not had done by who ever the Blue Line has do them. Comparing it to all of my others it is almost 100% spot on. The twill for the numbers seem to be a little bit thiner then the ones from the Blue Line/the three gamers I have but everything else is totally correct. The name plate is done with what I believe is the correct Air Knit material.

Total cost for both was only $124 and if you send in the 04 All Star with the blank 3rd it should be about $10 cheaper because the 09 All Star cost an extra $10 due to the front numbers that the 04 will not have.

Great to know. I intend to send them sometime this summer, along with the Calvert BWK gamer so I can get the nameplate fixed and the right C sewn on, assuming they ever send the C or A to me.

Got a couple of good ones coming. One I think even Mayor Bee will like :^)

A Question for the jersey gurus...
A woman sitting in front of me at the game last night was wearing an original CBJ away sweater. It was given to her back in the day. It had this strange patch on the bottom of the front, and she had no idea what it was all about but was very curious. I told her that I was from the internet* and might be able to solve the mystery.

Any thoughts?

that's a weird one. This was on the front?

The only patches the jackets have worn have always been on the right breast of the jersey. I've never seen anything on the hem.

Was it a blank, or was there a player? What was on the back hem of the jersey? Was it a ProPlayer, CCM, Koho? Did it have a fight strap?

I remember that there had been a name plate, but it had been ripped off. I want to say it was an Espensen.

I'll email the lady and get more detailed information.

I have seen that logo somewhere before, but I can not remember where. Walking around the Arena you see all kinds of strange jerseys like this.

Of course I meant Espen. Too many syllables.

Thanks for the 'hot' tip though, Google image search is your friend.... LOL

Never do a Google image search for "Novotny" with safe search off. I made that mistake when trying to photo match my Novontny jersey.

I will save the heterosexual males from themselves and tell them NOT to do it. I think I'm still a little bit blind. Homosexual males and heterosexual women, however, will enjoy it.

Would have been nice to give a little warning though.

Yeah, that doesn't remove the curiosity. Never worked for my parents either and that was a long, long time ago... That whole telling me not to do something usually had the opposite effect.

I'll see if I can resist.... Good news is that I'll probably forget about it.

Kind of back on track, any sign of the first set of this season's jerseys being available for purchase?

Just remember that if you do give in you will regret it for sure.

No not yet and with all of the give aways this year (two sets of 3rd and one set of homes and aways) there may not be that many for sale once they do put them out.

That doesn't sound very promising.

I do not think I have ever seen so may fake jerseys and jersey fouls in Nationwide at one time as I did last night. I would say half of the Hawks jerseys there were fake.

I did get to see a CBJ 3rd fake in person and they look way worse in person then they do on Ebay. There was nothing that looked right on it.

Does anyone have a game worn third jersey from the 2005-06 season? I have just acquired one and there isn't a set tag. I'm not concerned with it's authenticity, I'm just curious since most of my game worn or issued stuff has set numbers. I suppose its possible there was only one set of thirds that year as well.

Its a nice game worn with great wear though...definitely one of my favorites!
