Neuvy is on. Jeff Schultz not so much.

Doubled-up in shots.

I figured since Johansson is playing well defensively, he should stay on the 3rd line. If Caps get a center at the deadline, Perrault should be demoted to AHL at least?

Giant shot discrepancy, but I still feel like the Caps are playing the better game. SJ hasn't had many golden chances, whereas the Caps have. Unfortunately, they shoot themselves in the foot. Steckel loses it, OV shoots it into the defenseman, Knuble gets poke checked at the last second.

I don't get why one would leave the Capitals. Almost anything seems like a downgrade. He must really love college hockey.

yeah hello julie. She will be at Fox News before too long. Sigh.

Loving the Hannan paired with Sarge idea. Sarge for all the hammering I give him, is a young dman and could like all the others, stand to gain from playing with an aggressive guy like Hannan. I saw Sarge pinch in tonight, he is being more aggressive the past few days.

I'm guessing about a 15% raise.

Plus, Boston is nice. Especially since the winter from hell appears to be winding down.

Apparently Matt Cooke has the most career goals of anyone in Pittsburgh's lineup tonight, with 124.

This has got to be our shortest GDT in a while.

So this is what it's like to be a Devils fan...

Was thinking the same thing about Leonhardt. Especially considering how beloved he is here in DC.

The year Cooke was with the Caps, didn't he end Lecavilier's season?

I think you could argue that he was never the same after that hit either.

So the plan for the PO's is to win every game in OT? They could at least try harder to score and not try too hard not to get scored on. Idk... Maybe I got used to last seasons Caps.

No, the playoffs are when Ovechkin starts trying and gives us the 40 goals he owes us.
