Which team had the best draft?

Capitals-34.8%
Rangers-26.5%
Blues-16.8%

What a dumb poll. LA is on there strictly because they nabbed Tukonen at #11. The Blackhawks should not only be on that poll, but rank second only to Washington.

Actually, on the whole, I thought Black Hawks had a better draft than the Capitals. Jeff Schultz? Chris Bourque?? Ovechkin obviously gets them high marks,and I like the pick of Mike Green, but Chicago, i thought, did very well.

Agreed. If you exclude Ovechkin, the Blackhawks did better insofar as they got more "name" guys while in some instances (e.g. Bourque) the Caps went a little off the board. Still though, as the Rangers may have proven, going off the board doesn't necessarily imply a poor draft. Regardless, I think the acquisition of Ovechkin has to put the Caps on top. Franchise players don't come around very often.

In any event, if feel the Rangers definately deserve the number three spot.
