What this game demonstrated is the potential of the Canadiens' forwards to score. Unfortunately, we have disgusting dead weight which hinder our productivity. If the Gomez line had not been humiliatingly awful, this outcome may have concluded in our favor. As far as I am concerned the experiment is over and Andrei ought look for a new address. Evidently, nothing can be done in regards to Gomez but we can deal AK.

Exactly..the smurf brigade on Montreal won 2 straight fights and the Big Bad bOOINS ego took a huge hit so their tough guys had to respond by fighting our non-fighters.
Our defense was just **** tonight. Gave up too many odd man rushes, clear lanes to the net and some stupid decisions by Spacek, Gomez and Subban. Price made some saves after it was 2-0 but then couldn't after that.
Important to note Thomas just is not the VEZINA calibre goalie against us...we are in his head.

I don't care about the result. This game was pure gold, pure entertainment. That's probably one of the best, if not THE best game we have had this year. Epic.
I agree, a team builder if there ever was one. i would rather us lose a game like this one than the one we lost against Jersey. I wish Pouliot would show some more of this grit. I loved his fight last year against the Rangers and I loved this one even more. GO HABS!!!!

This is the EXACT, SAME, SAME pattern than when the Laffs were the Bruins and the Hens were the Habs. Quinn used the same tactics during games after the All-Star break, just to shake up the Hens a bit. And get into their heads with the physicality aspect of the game. It worked against Martin at the time, and it will work again.
Bruins like to dominate physically, thats their history...Fans wants to win win fights and be tough.........not win games.....Winning is secondary....thats why they havent won anything since we went on Mars....

Yeah Price made a few great saves early but he gave up 2 weak ones and gave up bad rebounds on the Lucic and Sidenburg ones.

In the playoffs, you won't see players jumping on another, who doesn't want to fight, and beat him up. As ****** as this league is, that doesn't happen.

Spacek is erratic and unpredictable. Weber and Subban are rookies. Wiz is mediocre in his own zone. And Gill is the least mobile player in the league 5 on 5.

We OWNED the Bruins winning the last 8 of 10 ok. Did you see the Bruins fans saying stupid things like "oh my god we need to get smaller and faster guys in order to compete with the habs".
We dont need big goons we need tough players ala Moen but with scoring touch. We just gotta play our game and we'll be successful. Our top scorer and two of our best defenseman are out, albeit its not excuse but still.
