I don't know.... I'm not sure even Crosby can make that lineup look better.

Just read babypens beat writer. He wrote this yesterday:

My best guess is Pittsburgh wants to try out some different guys. Maybe call up the Sterling-Craig-Johnson line intact.

http://blogs.citizensvoice.com/penguins/

Seemes like that's what they did and I'd guess they play together again.

He was held out of practice I read somewhere. It's just a maybe, it would be fitting if he was hurt too haha. Crosby hurt, Malkin hurt, Kunitz hurt, Comrie hurt, Cooke suspended. What the hell is this?

It could be the greatest April fools joke of all time. Everybody will come back on the ice on April 1st (or whenever the first game in April is), and say "GOTCHYA!"

I could be wrong because its become so hard to keep track but I knew Asham was on IR.

Cooke Staal Kennedy
Connor Jeffrey Dupuis
Sterling Craig Johnson
Rupp Talbot Adams
Kunitz Vitale Godard

Letang Orpik Michalek Martin GoGo Engel Lovejoy
Fleury Johnson

Thats 24 players.
Does Cooke not count against the 23 man limit while suspended?

Otherwise Kunitz must have been placed on IR.

(I could be totally missing something its gotten pretty messy.)

This. Cooke would not count as a roster player, so should be 5 on IR and 1 suspended ... really hard to keep track this days

Thanks for clearing that up.

It takes some thought just to name everyone currently available on the roster.

Hey anyone remember that Mike Comrie guy?

The Penguins really want him playing more like a power-forward, so I'm excited to see what kind of game he comes out with.

And Vitale is just full of energy. I'm sure we'll see him all over the place tonight.
Thanks Jesse. I always love reading your insight here and on Faceoff Factor!!

April fools, I would have expected something along the lines of him being able to come back, not still be out with the injury now to the original bad knee.

Torn ligaments know not the difference from one leg to another, see what I mean?
