That's what i got from your post as well. You meant that he doesn't take the chintzy calls like hooking or slashing, but the more 'in your face/rough stuff' penalties. Good stuff. Although I hope he does get a bit bigger. The way he cuts sharp to the net like that, he's gonna get murdered one day.

Depending on how he does in North Dakota, can McMillan be an outsider looking in? Surprisingly, I think a guy like Bennett might have a better chance than Tinordi....and I think Bennett will again be an outsider looking in. But he has to be greatly considered for what he's doing this year. Not sure what plans does Sweden have for Westin....probably not a whole lot...

I like it very much the way he fights often in the O.

He's learning.

Exactly what I was thinking. He doesn't seem to win as many fights as you'd like for a 6'7'' guy but I do think that he'll get better as he fills out.

At least he's showing the willingness to do it and to learn how to do it.

Being that rangy without the strength makes it really hard to win a fight. Lets the other guy pull you around.

A 6'7'' 235 lbs fighting machine He's gonna be a monstaaaaa
Seriously, once he'll fill out, he's gonna be a tough customer and very hard to play against in his own end. If he have the same offensive production as Regher/Phillips,etc (15-20 pts), he'll be a big part of our future because he has skating, grit and willingness to fight and defend his teammates. I really think he'll be an upgrade over Komisarek and won't do in his pants when the Habs will need him.

Even though he got owned in the fight, he really impressed me with his heart, he kept hanging in there, throwing punches when he could. I agree with the others, its good to see him learn and as he fills out, he'll be more dangerous, but its good to get that experience now.

Thx for the clip

He's up to 208lbs I think, that's what Hamilton has him listed at. I think he could reach 220lbs at physical maturity. The Kaleta comparison is good, Steve Ott also plays that style game. His game is a lot like White's but he is bigger(6'4" vs 6') and a better skater. His offense is not the best but he is outproducing Avtsin so far

He didn't get caught with any hard punches. When he fills out to 230-240lbs, those punches will hurt a lot more than at 210.

Penticton eliminated Quesnel last night in 4 straight...MacMillan did not play, must be hurt.

I really liked him at camp, will be a pretty good grinder for us, very tough to play against..

Conboy is a good skater for his size, I hope he is learning how to play defense since that is what you want from grinders. He can hit pretty good, if he can chip in 5 goals 10 assists on a 4th line he'll be valuable.

Ramo's team is behind the ball, 2-3 in their series so far, facing elimination in their next match. They've had some pretty lousy scoring from what I can see, haven't scored more than 2 goals in any of their 5 games so far.
