But, but, but he was on a hangover yesterday ! I'd rather him sleeping in than skating in the morning. He had his head down on the bench like he wanted to throw up on the ice all game long. or not, I don't know if it's true, but it felt like that.
Told my girlfriend the samething at some point in the 2nd... don't remember which goal it was, but Kostytsin was everywhere where he should NOT be, but never on the guy he was supposed to cover... he looked like an absolutely pee-wee, on that shift and a couple other ones. No way he was not hungover.
The Islander is the toughest man to ever set foot on the earth and though an avid sailor, he's happiest when he reaches his port. At 7 feet tall and almost as wide, he wears a metal mesh shark suit with chainmail suspenders hooked over his burly shoulders. His main weapon is a massive grappling hook with three prongs that each resembles a hockey stick.
The superhero abilities the Islander possesses, outside of super strength, are two forms of hydrokinesis. He can alter ocean currents, control weather patterns and wind at sea, and creates rogue waves or even tidal waves if the need arises. He has the ability to turn parts of his body into sea water in order to slip into an enemy stronghold undetected or to avoid injury. The Islander, in short, is the Guardians' resident marine.
Oh well. I get he must really be tough if he can survive after being beaten up so much.
I feel like less of a man because my team lost 60% of their fights last night.
Hopefully they can restore my machismo tonight.
You of course can have any opinion you like, but being able to punch someone in the face does is not what makes a man a man.
I too do not like seeing our team literally punched into the ice. It is a hard thing to watch and feel good about if you love the Canadiens which most is not all of us on the HF Habs boards do.
It is actually a mini version of whats wrong with the world. Those who can punch the hardest so to speak rule the rest of us. That is going to change...sooner than most of us think. Egypt is an example of the changes coming to this world.
