I actually think the scorekeeper screwed up because it was so obviously not interference. I find that more likely than a zebra missing the puck possession issue that badly.

Because Johnson tripped him immediately after so they had to get neither or both.

It isn't elbowing, nor boarding, nor roughing (which was called for his mini-scrum with Bickell), so I'd like to know for what he got the extra 2 min. for. NHL shows it's interference and interference it is, till it's changed.

BTW, they messed up the last time with the blown call on the thrown stick and now they messed up on something that even a 5 year old hockey fan would know.

There's the Turco we know and love.

@TXomisic - eh he's an OK backup, esp at 1.2mil.

Seabrook has been so all over this game tonight that it feels like he's never left the ice for this game. I really wish we had someone like that.

It was probably boarding, honestly. He threw him headfirst and pretty violently into the boards. That's a penalty where the hit itself isn't the issue but how the player flies in is. And the online scoresheet is based on what's announced in the building, which is what the scorekeeper writes down. They change after the game fairly regularly.

Morton apologized to Crawford for the missed PS the next time he worked a Stars game, FWIW.

Wandell is an offensive black hole. I want him to have any offensive upside because it would help this team so much, but I'm getting to the point I think it's just not there.

I remember us employing this strategy with Boucher a couple years back. Take a hard slapshot, injure a guy on the PK, and then use the new open lane to score.

God I'm glad they scored that before the period ended. Whole new game going to the lockeroom with that confidence.

Pisani banged his head on the glass due to the whiplash effect, and that's because of the awkwardness of the way he fell, and not being boarded in the manner we see often. Fistric didn't even charge him, so I am not buying the boarding argument, but given the evidence, that is the best explanation possible.

Look forward to that.
