NYR Future Captain
With Drury's buyout coming to fruition, what do the Rangers do about the vacant captaincy? 3 Assistants? Callahan? Dubinsky? Staal?

Either Callahan or Dubinsky, but it surely would be Callahan.
C - Callahan
A - Dubinsky
A - Staal
No one else belongs there.

ESPN New York agrees

"As for who the next captain of the New York Rangers will be, it would be a shocking development if it was anyone other than Ryan Callahan."

No chance that the coaches allow Dustinksy to be captain of this team. Cally 95%... Staal 5%.

Unless somehow Prospal re-signs with us, which I don't see happening, he should be the Alternate over Staal.

Nah, Torts already set the precedent this year. I'd be shocked if Staal didn't keep his A, and I think he deserves it.
