would the sabres have taken Grabner

Completely hypothetical but do if Grabner had somehow fallen to us on the waiver wire, do u think the front office would have picked him up? I wish I could say they would have but I doubt they would have.

Ruff and darcy would've folded, no doubt about that.
Like the fact that another austrian is getting some kind of rekognition here on this boards.

Now the NHL fans know 4 austrians: Vanek, Grabner, Hitler and Waltz.....

Maybe, but it should be noted that Grabner may not have broken out here like he did on the Island. Grabner's getting a lot more icetime than if Buffalo picked him up.

I still wonder how the Panther FO feels about waiving him in the first place.
