I mean like all the YEARS they did crap at the trade deadline, and reneged on the promise to improve, and apparently also reneged on a promise to Foote which prompted his wanting out of here.

And of course, "being a seller" should include "with the intent of BUYING to improve in the off season." Otherwise "being a seller" = more snakeoil.a

But frankly, in the wake of the unfolding Blackhawks UHaul tragedy, who cares?

Floppa and Budaj team up in the 7-1 beatdown. As a hockey fan I'm excited to see Forseberg back, but I wish the Jackets had played the Avs the four times by now so we don't have to face him. Him and Saklick ripped the team every time they played them

That's pretty funny right there. To Forsberg's credit, he wasn't causing a whole team to wait til he made a decision; the Avs need some help and he's trying to help them.

Less likely, granted, but more fun.

I'm over the Foote thing completely.

Basically, all I have to do is imagine if we had re-signed Foote and he was still playing for us.

I don't like the way this is heading - the Jackets just came off of a successful stretch of games, and dropped a heartbreaker two nights ago. Colorado is one of the top young teams in the game, and they're getting a big emotional boost. It could get ugly quick tonight, even if Forsberg doesn't factor into the scoring.

My prediction is that it will be a blow-out one way or another ... either the Jackets will storm out, and behind a strong goaltending effort will win big ... or, the Avalanche will do to us what they've done a number of times in the past. Dominate. I'll be surprised if it's a close game at all.

Is there a reason why Fox Sports Ohio feels the need to piss me off as much as possible? Why do I get to watch 2 channels of Cavaliers?

I'm getting the Cavs too. And they wonder why their viewer numbers are down.

The game is on 310, the one channel the Cavs aren't on.

Just saw the glimmer of gold on Arniel's left hand. A wedding ring! Damn it!! Ruined my night.

Forsberg is my all-time favorite player, and one of the reasons I began watching hockey when I was 12, but these guys are employed by the Blue Jackets, not the opposing team. They gotta go.

Playing like it's the 2nd and 3rd periods of the Sharks game. Luckily the Avs aren't as talented and not making them pay, so far.
