Just a guess, but Zachary Robert Hamill was called up for a showcase. PC is (IMO) trying to land Kaberle and trying to sell Brain Burke on the former #8 pick in 2007. Honestly, I am not a Hamill fan but he's looked decent this year at the AHL level and the past few games.
Kaberle for Boston's 1st in 2011 & Zachary Robert Hamill?

I'm with you.
I think Hamill is being showcased and he has done pretty good for himself.
I'm not sure what kind of deal these guys would work out and I'm not going to speculate on it, but I do think Hamill is on the block along with Stuart.

Maybe Chia is trying to dangle Hamill as the difference between toronto and bostons first round pick.
Toronto has asked for Colborne+Tor 1st, and Boston has countered with Colborne+Hamill+Bos1st.
or maybe Kaberle+Versteeg for Colborne+Ryder+Tor 1st. Same situation as above tho.

Lmfao... have they now?
Hamill will be kept, he's the internal solution to the Savard issue and has played very well in the two games he's been up. The Bruins have literally no center depth at the moment, they aren't going to weaken that going into the playoffs.

I was speaking hypothetically, no offer has been made to my knowledge. Perhaps I could have worded it better.
Did you really say that in bold? Boston has a ridiculously stacked Center depth. Savard being out doesnt change that.
I wasnt trying to balance the trade, merely theorizing that the reason hamill may be being showcased is to pad the difference between Torontos first and bostons first.

I don't know, but I get the feeling that what you have proposed is too much for Kaberle alone. Do you really think Kaberle is worth a 1st round pick and 2 former 1st round picks? I think that is too steep of a price for Chiarelli to consider.
We are talking about a guy who could play somehwere around 30 games for the Bruins, that equals a 1st round pick for every 10 games, that's a bit severe don't you think?
I think it would be more likely that Hamill and a 2nd and maybe even Mark Stuart or if Burke would prefer, Boston's 1st in 2011 alone is a more realistic guess as to what a return for Kaberle would be.
I could be wrong and we will see within a couple of weeks, but I wouldn't be very happy about any of the proposals you brought up
I know what I think is reasonable, I don't know what Chiarelli and Burke think is reasonable.
