I think we hold a lot of tiebreakers due to our dominance of Calgary and our terrible shootout record.

Shootout wins don't count toward wins in tiebreakers this year.

Throw in the fact Minnesota still has a couple games in hand against most teams around them and the Wild are putting themselves in a good position.

Talk about a huge win, love the way the guys celebrated after Havlat tied it at the end of the game.

Huge win, and let's keep it going tomorrow night!

With the way the team is playing, it's going to be hard to trade anything away.

Sounds like I missed a good one last night. Too bad. Got to see Zucker in-depth and I'm really excited about that kid. Seen the highlights of the game though. Theodore looked really shaky. Some impressive shootout goals from both squads last night.

I keep getting a "remote file is too big" message.

Size wise its fine, but its roughly 42kb, which is more than the 20kb allowed.

I know its not your fault, but just a heads up for all.

that was a good game! i'd probably say great except i was watching the Isles/Pens circus (no stream of the Wild). holy crap that was Epic. Character won our game. Loved Nystrom tossing Backes to the ice near the end there.

I am not at all comfortable with Theodore in net during shootouts--watching him last night nearly gave me an ulcer.

Brodziak looks more and more comfortable playing a second line role and had several great plays.

Once again, our fourth line spent most of their limited ice time trapping the other team in their own zone. They can't finish (very often) but at least they control the puck for the most part.

I uploaded my own unicorn icon I made earlier.

It looks kind of small, can't even tell its the Wild's third jersey. Anybody know how I can trim off the sides of the image?

First, I would center the imagine. It's a little bit to the left.
Are you looking to trim the white? Making it invisible? Or what exactly are you looking to do?

I've been dinking around on Photoshop the last few days and needed some ideas to learn new techniques so I tried coming up with a concept for a banner based on the drawing Bozak did. I think the colors look pretty cool, but I could pretty much only see a comic book fan liking it. Let me know critiques, etc.

I think I got it figured out. It's not quite as nice as I'd like it, but it'll do. Thanks anyway

and here's the image if anybody wants to see it big:

So apparently we have a new player on the Wild...

as per TSN

"Martin Havlak forced overtime with 57.6 seconds to go, jamming the puck past Jaroslav Halak from the side of the net."

p.s. I've heard proofreading can do wonders for a young journalists career.

This reminds me of listening to the game last night. Apparently, the Blues had 3 goalies last night: Halik, Halak, and Holak. Every time they mentioned his name there was a different pronunciation.

Is this Havlak as good as our Havlat? I'm excited to see him play tonight!
