Pat Hickey took the comments like they were made by a seven year old, and turned it into an article that showed true class, professionalism and knowledge. It could have been so easy to write an article that would rip into the radio host, and even Boston for that matter. But Pat didn't. He kept his cool and took everything in stride.

About the comments made, they were simply just ignorant. I don't expect the quality of radio talk shows to be amazing, seeing as how the one in Montreal isn't that great either, but is it so hard to ask for a little bit of maturity? So you don't agree with an author's comments on a particular subject. Why must you bash him? Imagine the work load the mods would have, if everyone bashed other's opinion, just because they don't agree. The mods heads would spin.

Yeehaaawwww. These guys are the reason we have Yosemite Sam though. So I guess that's cool.
I've heard it at flyers games too.

The TSN crew couldn't help but to start laughing everytime the USA chants arose because the habs have more americans than the bruins and the bruins have more canadians than the habs

I dont expect the average fan to know this but I found it funny nonetheless.

The cost of undergraduate degree at McGill is still only around $2,000 It costs more in tuition to go to a community college here in Michigan for that kind of money.

Yup, the government pays the rest (so basically, everyone in Quebec pays). And still, some would like education to be free in here.

Well I know Canada is a little more Socialist than the US I have Quebec relatives and my mother was Canadian. I remember the tuition being around $600-700 back around 1993 or so. I figured it would of gone up more than that. McGill in the US could charge $10-15K as a public university.

No need to bring the "We have more cups than you" that really starts to piss me off and sounds childish. But that freakin french canadian attacks made no sense based on everything Hickey said though. Enough of those nationality nonsense....let's play freakin hockey.

Marc Savard has the name of a franco-ontarian but doesn't speak french.

I'd venture to say that the chanting is for the visiting fans.

Would've been a tense place all around. Prolly a few ushers needed new undergarments after that.

I expected a good rebuttal today in the Gazoo. They had Hickey on Mitch's show yesterday aft & tore a strip off the City of Boston.

Now that seems more logical when you take into consideration inflation. At $2000 a year I was getting ready to fill in my Canadian citizenship papers and move to Canada.

Of course. Post-secondary education ought to be free.

Yup. I love that an average jo here gets the same education as the elite down south.

But that's all about class struggles, not so much about retards being aloud to have a radio show

Just because we're better, doesn't mean we're the best. Why not aim for even more progress?

When we compare to the rest of Canada and the US we are the best. With all the loans and scholarships, University is very accessible in Quebec.
