Hopefully Havlat doesn't take too kindly to Clutter having the lead in goals for the team and decides to tie him again.

Way to go Clutter!

My thoughts on the fighting: I'd like to see us win more fights but it's nice certain players are showing more emotion lately.

I expect the 2nd period to be atypical. Gonna be another fight or two, a couple huge hits.. Man, these back-to-back games cause some bad blood. Frustrations still fresh on the mind. I think the NHL needs to work the schedule like this more...

I agree but unfortunately there's only a couple teams which are close enough to warrant it and none are divisional opponents.

He didn't get knocked out.
I am sure there are some...I just haven't found them or people that watch them. That, and the site I watched the smaller ones on got seized...

I will have to see Silva vs. GSP. I think I have told you I am a GSP fan so I'd like to see him against a bigger guy that has unbelievable stand-up. I would think that GSP can get him down since Mr. Cheater could but then again, Silva said he had an injured rib.

awesome that clutter cashes in on the most harmless looking shot of the night. Barker showing some fight, janssen fights staubitz after bitzy nearly knocks himself out, and someone takes a flying leap at schultz to end the period. like this home and home idea. bad blood=entertaining hockey.

barker lost? didn't look like anyone hit anyone in that fight. have to wait to see it tho.

Just to tell you guys how out of the loop I am (compared to how I was for the last 8 years in MN where I would check this site, Russo or some others multiple times a day), I didn't know about the Penguins and Islanders game until a few hours ago. Man, I wish I could have seen that. Yea, there was some gooning going on but it reminds me of the Anaheim series we had or some of the older games around 2002-2003 against Vancouver when Cooke two-handed Johnson...those games get the blood going...

That's fine by me. Could do this with St. Louis, Colorado, Detroit, Columbus, Nashville, Chicago, etc. if they REALLY wanted to. Speaking of, I'd be willing to give up one game of the six per season (5 total) playing in-division rivals to play out-of-conference teams. Kinda makes me mad that most seasons we'll only play Philly, Boston, Washington, NYR, etc. once on average.

I honestly thought of old Probert videos Ive watched on youtube when Godard came off the bench and it was a 2-1. Also, when Talbot was sucker-punched was crazy...couldve really injured him.
