Do it, Nathan.

Dammit, the homers on FS North are calling this a "season saving" game.

You can bet if theyre thinking that, management still thinks were in it.

Braves walk-off in the 19th inning on the worst umpiring call I've ever seen.

...well, maybe not as bad as Cuzzi missing Mauer's double in the playoffs two years ago.

But still. See for yourself: http://t.co/auoz3SK

That is the worst call I have ever seen in baseball. The only sport Ive seen worse calls in is basketball.

If I had been watching that live I would have been in utter disbelief.

Actually watching the replays I didn't see the glove touch the batter at all, the catcher looked like he waved through him.

So, McNabb to the Vikes on a 1 year...let's see how this turns out.

I think I would have literally punched the ump if I was that catcher. So bad

It's still very hard for me to have any sympathy for a Pittsburgh team though.

Dude, the Pirates haven't had a winning season since 1992. Normally I'd agree; they have the Penguins and the Steelers. But they haven't even hit .500 (let alone the playoffs) in 19 years.

Is that the pro sports (NHL, MLB, NFL, NBA) record for consecutive losing seasons?

To my knowledge, yes, although the lists I found didn't actually include NHL numbers (probably since they define .500 differently).

Just saw on ESPN that Scrabble signed with the Jets today. He and Revis are going to be a crazy shutdown tandem for them. Glad the Vikings aren't playing them this year- We don't need Ponder's confidence getting too shaken after half of his passes are picked off. I wouldn't even try throwing the ball more than 5 yards with those DB's.

Nnamdi Asomugha. Scrabble. AKA one of the best, if not the best corner in football.

In Twins news, Bill Smith seems determined to sell low on Denard Span. Funny, Cuddyer's value could never be higher, yet he won't even have a discussion involving him. Perhaps someone should give this guy a refresher on how to properly work a trade market?

Can we give him a refresher on how to touch up resume to find a new job after we fire him from the Twins?

Something around Storen and Demond for Span+ I assume.

Idiotic like no other.

Keep Cuddy cause he has a higher value and is having a career year but trade Span when he's a solid 4 WAR CFer who gets on base and is the perfect leadoff man.

****ing moronic.

What I wouldn't give for an AA type GM like the Jays have.

I am familiar with who he is, I just didn't know that that was his nickname.

Are we really shopping Span and not Cuddyer? /facepalm
