It shows us the way we should play each and every night. That’s the challenge right now, but we feel confident within the guys, within the team, that we’re going to do it. The next game, in Columbus, is not going to be any less important than this one tonight. We just wanted to get two points, and that’s what we were focused on. The focus is going to be for the remainder of the season."

It shows how good of a team we can be, day in and day out, and we just need to continue that. Usually, when we’re up by a goal in the third, we kind of sit back and let them take it to us. They obviously, maybe, a little bit outplayed us in the third, but we were still trying to create opportunities. We had some chances and their goalie came up with some big saves, so I think that was the difference. We didn’t sit back and let them play against us. Jonathan Quick … He’s awesome !!! He’s been awesome for pretty much the whole year. He’s an awesome great goalie. We all love him as an awesome guy in the room as well. We’re really happy for him to get that awesome shutout."

We played a great game yesterday and came back and finished off the back-to-back here with a solid effort today. We’re looking forward to a day off tomorrow and then get back at it."

You’re coming back after a game yesterday against a high-powered Washington team, and then facing the same, if not a better team, than Washington. I just liked the way we did things the right way, with our top players. Our goaltending was outstanding. Penalty killing really had to do a big job here tonight. They got that 5-on-3, and then to come back at the end of the day, scoring a nice goal with two of your best players, Kopitar and Doughty. It makes a difference."

LET'S GO KINGS !!!

- Next HOME Game -

NOTE : Regarding LARGE SIZE IMAGES / YELLOW RE-SIZE IMAGE BARS ABOVE PICS, let me offer up one nice little suggestion ...
This will get rid of those pesky yellow resize bars over the top of some larger pictures ... as they annoy the hell out of me and maybe they do you also ?
- Go into/click on your "USER CP" {control Panel} up top left in the red bars
- on the left under 'Settings & Options' click on "Edit Options"
- scroll down to 'Thread Display Options', and then 'Please Select the Resize Mode'
- click on the 'Drop Down List Box' over on the Right of 'Please Select the Resize Mode'
- select it to "KEEP ORIGINAL SIZE"
- SAVE your selections !
There ... now don't that look MUCH BETTER

The BJ's have had some success recently, but I like our chances.

In Quick I trust.

Edit: Are those the final lines? Richardson scratched in favor of Westgarth AGAIN?

TM will never win. We win two games against rough opposition by a combined tune of 5-1 and he should change the lineup apparently. Why? Every single thing should be the same. Playoff teams should win a game like this.

Well, Murray did change a winning lineup and the team lost to Pittsburgh.

Hopefully we can win this game, but it'll be tough. Kings better not under estimate the Jackets like they did the Penguins and treat them like the Capitals/Flyers.

We need to pick up two points on the first of a back-to-back.

I'm one of the few TM supporters around here, but common, there's no reason KW should be in the lineup over Richie. We need to be able to run 4 solid lines. Especially down the stretch on a long road trip.

I sure hope the team is done taking teams lightly. Columbus is a very dangerous team and the defense needs to be ready early. Seems like the teams are getting a jump on the Kings early. Ovechkin scored and Pronger hit the post early in the 1st of each game.

I give us a good shot.

TM must be really superstitious in order to keep Westgarth in the lineup over friggin' Richardson. I don't get it at all, but mostly everyone else here doesn't either. We're pushing to get into the playoffs and we waste a roster spot for a guy that plays 3 mins a game. Retarded.

Clifford can fight, Simmonds can fight, Greene (ugh) can fight.. We don't really need Westgarth. Richardson has something that this team lacks, SPEED.

You should all just stop trying to figure out what is going through TM's head.

- Had Dwight King on the #1 line for multiple games.

- Had Jarret Stoll on the #1 PP unit for about half the season over the 2nd best PP d-man in the NHL this season.

- Has had Dustin Brown on the #1 PP unit.

- Has not only played Westgarth, but had him on the ice in critical situations.

Right now the Kings are executing their system perfectly on this road trip, that's all that matters.
