Except for the 4 or 5 times he couldnt handle a pass to keep the puck in the offensive zone! Needs to work on receiving his passes!

GO HABS GO!!!

That's the thing: he will become even better.

I am almost scared. Is he gonna cost us 6 M$?

He will make a move or receive a pass, but then when he goes to shoot or move the puck, it will roll right off his stick and become a turnover to the other team. Incredibly frustrating to watch.

It's really too bad. If even one of Gomez or Kostitsyn was playing decently, with Cammy coming back, we'd only need one top 6 forward. Plus we have an offense-generating third line. As it stands, gonna be interesting to see how and if Gauthier handles the issues.
Gomez and AK have been slumping lately, but you can't say they haven't played well since the Boston game. They have generated chances but not finished, at somne point the dam will break.

I would like to see Gomez back with Gionta and AK back with Cammy, both duos have had good chemistry.

If Subban has 5 goals and Crosby has 5 goals. Subban has more goals then Crosby

Kostitsyn was awful last night aside from his one solid hit.

I agree, I'd be willing to try going back to...

Cammalleri - Plekanec - Kostitsyn
Pacioretty - Gomez - Gionta

It just sucks that by the time Cammy is back (assuming he plays Sunday), we'll only have 4 games to decide till the deadline.

Subban is playing excellent hockey, even Martin said it the other day which he usually has a hard time saying about young players. Keep it up PK

The kid bleeds Bleu Blanc Rouge and always dreamed of playing for the Canadiens. Get used to it, he'll be here for a long time... just like Markov, he'll surely take the hometown discount. This guy is all passion, professionnalism comes 2nd.

Her is a gem really. I wish the Habs actually had a health Markov to see them both play on the PP together..

I thing as Habs fans, we were robbed of seeing them play together for long.. Hopefully Markov will be back next season..

I love Subban, easily my favourite player in years.

That being said, the little I saw of last night's game featured a moment when he tried to clear the puck on the PK and handed the puck right over to a Sabre who tossed it in front of the net to another guy who couldn't finish.

Glad they dodged a bullet on that.

BTW, Picard sucks.

I believe the universe simply gets broken by awesomeness overload when you combine the Warrior and the General together on the ice.

And like any natural event, the breakdown takes the path of least resistance; in that case Markov's knee.

Actually, yeah, he did save us.

He's the only one on the Sabres who remembered the game started at 7:30pm last night. The rest of the guys were having beers and oogling French Canadian girls until at least 8:30-9pm.

That first period was embarrassing and I hate to say it buy given Miller's current overworked/frustrated status, I think he would have let in a few more had he been in there.

You still consider Lalime to be your backup? LOL

Also amusing that you refer to a 22 year old 2nd round draft pick goalie as a "3rd string goalie from the AHL", as if we're not supposed to consider the fact that some day soon your team EXPECTS him to be as good as he was last night.

He's not really trolling... Enroth didn't save them.

I can count the number of scoring chances the Habs had past the 1st period on one hand.

With all the injuries this season very difficult to get excited about making a 3rd seed run or a playoff run. I mean we have had to deal with Markov and Gorges, Cammaleri but now every night someone else is going down, just doesn't seem to give us any time to get on a roll. And then theres Gomez
