Other: Low first rounders

I love the way poster on here always say "well that pick is basically a high 2nd" when its a team in the top 5 in the NHL standings.

So by that logic a high 2nd is basically a low 1st since its just after the first round.

People a first is a first is a first. Detroit doesn't say hey our 27th pick overall is really a high second when they are trying to make a deal no its a first.

Just a pet peeve.

depending onyour POV and how your trying to spin it, a low 1st is either "pretty much a 2nd" or a high second "is practically a 1st">

I propose we just call it a 20th to 40th pick. Or even crazier... a low 1st or high 2nd.
