Rick,

I'm a whiskey lover. Jameson is number 1 on my list, but JD's Green Label comes in a close number 2, personally.

Bourbon or bust for me. Bulleit Bourbon, Wild Turkey, or Maker's Mark.

I'm a vodka guy too. I am of the opinion that all hard liquor tastes like ****, and you might as well drink something you can pound back five of with no aftertaste. It's better than taking my time drinking five beers and getting full, and every other hard liquor sucks. Then again, I'm no aficionado. I just drink to get **** housed.

Three olives vodka and sprite
Calico and coke

Those are my 2 hard liquor drinks. Both taste good and don't cost too much as a college kid. Better then the normal vladdy and natty

None of those other two can come close to touching Maker's Mark IMO. But I prefer Knob Creek to all of those.

Would tend to go with scotch anyway. I have an Islay Scotch from Glenmorangie waiting for me at home...

Oops. Started the alcohol conversation by accident.

JL, I haven't delved into many other whiskeys. I've tried a couple I can't remember, and then Irish Mist my friend bought (he loves it, I don't remember it being particularly special).
