Im actually happy about this. Cobourne wasn't happy because he didnt get alot of touches, but the reality is that hes getting old and MTL with AC is a Passing team. This not-resigning Cobourne opens free caps space, that brought the Dwight Anderson move. Now the Als will have the best Corner duo in the CFL with Anderson and Estell

Als should sign Yvenson Bernard, a younger running back. He and Whitaker can split the job. Can't see Green doing too much tbh

Als also signed Tad Crawford. He won't be sitting on the bench. This mostlikely means Mathieu Proux will retire?

They also Re-Sign Ramon Guzman

Proulx is likely retiring, just not official yet.

Als always manage to replace their good players.

Thing is, I don't mind Cobourne going away.

But I fear that the Als might suffer from the lost of Cahoon, and once Calvillo is gone, an era will end, and I just hope Pop can pull out another rabbit out of his hat.

Yes but we knew this was coming.

It's tough to see Cahoon go, but the Als still have Watkins, Richardson, Green, and Bratton - a very strong receiving core, but they jsut don't have Cahoon's sure hands.

As for the QB situation, we can only hope Adrian McPherson is both willing to stick around until AC retires and is able to fill the void when he does.

That's the best part about our little 8 team league! It's E-Z as all hell to follow & we can all be amazing GM's! Popp has great U.S. Eyeballs though, that put the ALs over the top... (0)(0)

Don't forget Prechae Rodriguez. He had a little of a down year with the Riders last year (also got injured), but he still has a ton of potential. I wouldn't be surprised to see him put up 800-1000 yards.

Forgot about him. Definitely has potential to be a gem - plus he's pretty big

Ya Jerry Porter, he was the #3 receiver behind Rice and Brown when they lost to TB in the SB

The fact that we have Richardson, Green, Bratton, Watkins and Rodriguez, there's no way Desriveax or Deslauriers should get playing time unless there's an injury...not trying to diss any of them, but yeah, they're not on the same level as the 5 I mentionned.

I would go with Rodriguez and Watkins as the WR's. Richardson, Green and Bratton as the SB's.

It's all about creating mismatches. On the outside, Watkins has the speed to burn DB's, while Rodriguez has a clear size advantage (6'4 over 5'10/6'0 DB's). And then Richardson/Green have good hands, good speed and size. They were both dominant last year (well Richardson has been for 3 years now). Finally, I would bring in Bratton for the 5 WR sets, he would most likely be matched up vs a LB and that's a huge advantage for him (speed). You can always move Bratton around, he's versatile and can also play on the outside.

I might be biased, but I definately think the Als have the best recieving core in the league!

Deslauriers and Desriveux are good depth guys to have on the team (also play special teams), but again, I don't see them getting much playing time..

Porter's not going to last through training camp.

If he wasn't still on contract, I'd spite Hamilton and Coborne by taking Cobb from them. Then again, who doesn't need to worry about grudges? The two-time defending Grey Cup champions, that's who.

Als sign DeAudra Cobb, so we basically swapped RB's with Hamilton. I wasn't really scared about our running game with the loss of Cobourne, but now I definately think we'll have the best offense in the league.

We also added Kitwana Jones.
